I wouldn't list the firm as a two month gap is not even typically cause for concern.

You eventually need to disclose it. However you do that is your business but don’t imagine that they won’t find it. I’d put it on my resume without any other information.

Within three years you had 3 jobs (I’m assuming you currently have a job) and you’re looking for another job?
I think the job-hopping would be a larger factor than a 2-month gap
I love my current job, I misspoke the old job was probably 4 years ago at this point and two jobs ago. I work at the government and there are budget cuts which I was told I wouldn't be affected by but I needed to update my resume
