Government attorney - Arrive at 9, leave at 5:30 +/-15 on both ends. Sign in at 9pm at home, work 3-5 more hours.
When I was at F500, arrive 9:30, leave late afternoon. On days when I arrived at 9, I often turned on the lights (motion sensors) for the entire floor when I got off the elevator.
I see so many job postings for hybrid work and the thought of a commute and being stuck at the office for a long time is making me second guess applying to them. I am in a small legal dept and need one of those F500 with a large legal team to spread out the work.
I’m afraid that I’m going to end up in a worst spot than I am now. At least I am remote and don’t have to see my itty bitty group in office and I don’t work crazy hours.
We have to go in every other Weds. I’m there all day - 9-6 including lunch in the area - but it’s understood that socializing is going to drastically decrease productivity that day.
