I am currently in ID and wanting a miracle in-house position. I recently learned that the VP of Lit for an ins. carrier was promoted leaving her position open. I’m unsure if they’re planning to fill that vacant role. I’d like to approach her about my general interest of going in house (asking her how she did it herself) and mention my interest with her company. I know this is a sensitive topic as she gives me cases. I have a great professional and personal rapport with her. Any tips?

Really confused as to whether to incorporate my NY- based makeup startup as an LLC or an S-corp? Not based in NYC if that matters and no revenue yet. Should I be looking into Delaware at all (specifically a Delaware C-Corp) if I do plan on raising capital at some point down the line? Also - for any FDA lawyers out there, what is the problem with developing makeup (specifically foundations) with SPF? I've heard it's "heavily regulated." What do I need to be aware of? I give my cell phone to all clients routinely. However, there are always 1 to 2 clients who abuse this and it seems as soon as their cases are over I find a new one and it is making me rethink. I hate to do this because 98% do not abuse it and I like being connected to my people. Thoughts??
