If both are third party recruiters, then engage with one (the one who contacted you first, or the one you know or like better), and tell the other one thanks for reaching out but someone else has already contacted me about this role. You don’t want 2 headhunters submitting you for the same job, the agency will likely take you out of the running just to avoid the drama over which of them gets the finders fee and both recruiters would find out and never reach out to you again.
This. Has happened to me before too. Just be upfront. Saves everyone the runaround and future stress.
Challenge them to a duel

.
Do you have a better relationship with one of the two? If so, go with that one.
Find out the salary range from one. Use that knowledge and try to negotiate the higher end with the other.

Send one of the headhunters my way.
Go directly to the client, cut out both in the middle.
Gathers as much info from both as possible about the job description, salary, benefits etc- then compare notes. Really helpful to get a better idea from 2 POVs.
Then go with either the higher salary’d recruiter OR if the range is the same- go with the one u like better
Consider who’ll represent you best. Like if one believes in you more and has backed you before they’ll fight harder for you.

Unless one of the headhunters is a stranger and the other one is a trusted partner, or one is a chancer and one is a reputable industry player, you should go with the person who contacted you first.
