I have joined Nagarro almost a year now as a senior architect. However, I see lot of issues here. The company is great so far as employee friendliness is concerned. It may be rated as the top most company in that regard and that is why attrition is well within control. However, there are issues:

1. Project Allocation - allocated to projects without fitment with the role or skills. No internal job portal

2. Lots of seniors in bench for long time

3. No way to give company feedback

I am an hourly employee. Currently if there is a hospital call that needs to be done, someone will volunteer to do it for overtime. Now, my company wants to create a set call schedule. If we get a call at 5pm, when my shift ends, can I still be required to complete the call? I will be paid overtime but don’t like the fact they will force it upon us.

I work in-house on a media team for a B2B organization and I’m the only person on my team who deeply understands media. Two new hires who I had zero say around hiring have both asked me basic media questions (how programmatic works, media mix and how we work with vendors). So I was hoping I could get some advice! I went through the interview process with a fintech company. At the end of all interviews the recruiter told me the manager was attempting to open a more junior role to better fit my experience but they weren’t sure “if or when she would get the approval”. The recruiter even asked if I was in the interview process with any other companies. This was 3 weeks ago, I followed up once, do I keep following up with the recruiter or do I drop it and move on??

Anyone else update their job on Fishbowl and get removed from all their bowls unexpectedly? I somewhat understand getting removed from the Consulting bowl (though it’s odd since I still have ties/can contribute to discussion there since I worked in consulting). Some Business Intelligence/Analyst roles are very data heavy. I wonder why these roles do not have the term “data” in them, and wonder if it’s to keep the salary lower than it should be. I have colleagues doing intense data science tasks as BI Analysts, and can’t help but feel indignant on their behalf because when hearing their job title, one would underestimate their technical ability.

Has it ever happened that you have received a mail from a company(FAANG) for the work you had done in previous organization but never considered big enough to attract attention of a recruiter from such a big company. 😋
