It's too hot to handle now 🥵
Strip clubs! You can’t miss them!😂😂
My suggestion would be to not visit Dallas next month
Gonna be miserably hot. Do stuff indoors, Perot museum, DMA, rangers game, etc
Terry blacks bbq if you haven’t been to the one in Austin
If we’re talking barbecue: pecan lodge, Lockharts, Heim
Dallas is boring honestly but-- Perot, DMA, the aquarium, Klyde Warren Park after sundown, people say the food is really good here, the Arboretum if you go first thing in the morning before it gets too hot, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra or the opera house next door... it's giving family friendly vibes and nothing else.
Yes best steakhouses
Chief
Anything indoors 🥵

I’m visiting to see if I can live there and handle the heat.
Vegetarian options great.
Any activities to show what locals do or good sites
Probably the worst timing to be in Texas considering the weather but are you staying in downtown Dallas or anywhere in particular?
Locals here eat out A LOT! Tons of options (even vegan). One of the reasons Dallas has more restaurants per person than pretty much anywhere else in the US. Because of the current heatwave, for sake of safety (& to avoid a tour of the ER), I would do the indoor tourist stuff like museums (JFK, Jewish, Perot science, etc.) because, as so many locals have said, I have lived here 30 years and can't believe I still have NEVER gotten around to seeing most of them!
