Want to apply for admission to SDNY. A sponsor is needed. Is it a “big deal” to ask someone to sponsor me? Or is it a common request? I’d ask a partner I worked closely with on an SDNY criminal case. I did good work for him, but am still a fairly junior attorney (2nd year).
