Just act like a normal person and answer their questions honestly? Lol I don’t understand why you’re acting like this is some huge burden.
Fr its literally their cousin
You know there is only one correct piece of advice: don’t do it.
Lol I was coming to say the same...I mean if that's not the advice they want, the standard do well on your LSAT should suffice
Just tell them you’re off work, and you don’t want to think about work when you’re not there. That’s what I do with my mom who’s dead set on going to law school in the next year and just applied (she’s a medical doctor already, so this makes no sense to me).
You’re not going to change their mind going to law school. Just answer the questions normally. Whatever you’d expect if you were in their shoes
Don’t unless you have no other marketable skills
You don't need to give anyone any explanation. Once you tell them to get off your business, they won't question you any more.
It's sweet that they admire you and want to ask questions, but I get not wanting to talk about work a lot when you're off. Just try to be encouraging! It's a big deal having someone to look up to and talk to about what you're dreaming of becoming. Your wisdom & encouragement can make a huge difference in their life. :)
I think the best advice I ever got was not to go to law school unless I was sure I wanted to be an attorney. I was, and now here I am. If they are set on it, don't try to change their mindl
If they really want to go to law school, they must do everything possible to maximize their LSAT score. A good GPA with an excellent LSAT score can get you fairly decent scholarship money at schools with good outcomes.
Jobs are hard. Spend extra time on LSAT and get a scholarship. Loans are killer.
Tell them to ask all their questions on Fishbowl instead of you 🙃
Hahaha! Good advice. Introduce them to fishbowl. We are happy to be of help!
Aside from having an impressive GPA, your cousin must also be fully-equipped. I mean he/she should be mentally ready to go through it. Best of luck!
I always say, make sure you actually want to practice law if you go to law school. Its not worth the debt if you aren't absolutely sure.
