Rising Star
Am email (so no cost) telling me who the board members are, where they live or how to contact them, and when the next board meeting is so I know where to go to complain when people are being to nosy and telling me my trash bins are visible and I’m “ruining” their property values.
Don’t spent any of my HOA dues on crap. Just spend it on whatever you must pay for (maintenance of community spaces, etc.) and leave me alone.

Not really. If I need to do something to prepare for the landscapers, then tell me that. But I’ll figure it out when my hedges get trimmed. Too many notices that don’t require action means that all notices will eventually be ignored, even ones that do require action.
Tell me the non-obvious rules that I might not know about but should. Is there a place I’m supposed to walk my dog. You gave me 50
pages of rules - which ones do I really need to know.
If I’m new to the area - restaurants, dry cleaners you like.
Who the staff and when they work. When to go directly to the staff and when to go through the office [different in every building]

Dissolving
Lol this was such a genuinely eager-to-please post, but all these salty comments are funny af haha. I think you’re taking it constructively OP, good on ya. I think the general consensus is that HOA’s are annoying but serve a purpose. Focus on the practical/useful/beneficial with minimal costs, and less on the boujee stuff.
Just stating facts

A discount on dues for a year lol
I’d like financial statements explained - why is there maintenance/janitorial/cleaning all listed as separate expenses on the income statement? Why was there negative cash balance in the checking account? Might be an auditor in me, but I think there should be a Q&A session after FS are sent because every year they confuse me even more
