Would you say being a partner is more demanding than being an industry exec?

Currently an EM at McKinsey, joined as a lateral hire after 6yrs in consulting (strategy boutique) and a short stint at a lesser known PE firm. What prospects would I have pivoting back to PE?

Senior 1 at EY and have been talking to PWC recruiters, they’re saying I would possibly have to bump down to an Associate 3 due to tenure, any one have any experience with this?

What are some feasible exits to the investment industry? PE seems to be too hard. Currently at Strategy& Deals Strategy and will leave at the 3YOE mark

How far into implementation and execution do you get as a strategist (and what's your specialty). I notice social strategist tend to get way more into the executional portion, even writing copy etc. whereas brand strategy tends to roll off once the briefing process is done. Starting my counseling career on Tuesday and I’m scared to fail. What if I say something stupid and hurt my clients and make it worse?
