Reason to leave - want more technical exp before moving to Big tech and better comp. although PwC increased salary this year, it’s not in the same ball park at this point. Don’t see myself staying to make partner/MD at either firm. Welcome all suggestions on what I should do.

I’ve been at a job for a few months and hate it - partners set unrealistic deadlines, micromanage, and create work that truly is not necessary/push urgency when there is no real urgency. I had other offers prior to accepting this job that may still be options, and going back to my old job (for a pay cut) might also be an option. I can’t tell if this is just burnout, growing pains, or just an untenable work environment. Would you ride it out for a year at new job or pursue other options? HELP!

Typical days on a difficult project with a difficult partner
