This too shall pass! Soon it will be only a memory.
Picture yourself at the beach. This week will go quickly.
In the same boat…seems like the longest month ever. Hang in there!!!
Life happens one day at a time, so be kind and patient with yourself. You've gotten this far already, it's only a little bit longer until you get to the finish line. Maybe plan some little rewards for yourself along the way so you have things to look forward to as you close out the year.
I would recommend d use every spare moment to do something for you. If you can go outside, take your shoes off, and soak in some sun. I took my students outside on the last day and let them have some fun. It was really for me not them
Think summer thoughts: wake up late, use the bathroom whenever, read books at the beach, stress free days, and NO kids to teach!!!
This is my last day of the year. I have my summative conference in 20 minutes. I was where you were at a week ago. Fact is, the time will pass and it will be over for the year. You will get there. It's the journey there that is the problem. I'd say be flexible with yourself and the students. Pick your battles. If the teacher down the hall isn't abiding by the rules it makes your job harder, but you can't do anything about that teacher. Consider picking battles this last week. And letting go what you are going to lose anyway.
Same here. No motivation to do anything

I have two weeks left, at least this week is a 4 day workweek…
SUMMER:)
We have two weeks left, longest school year ever!
@Middle School Reading Specialist, are you finished with school now? Hope your Summer Break is full of enjoyable, relaxing days.
Show some Pixar shorts. Put the kids in groups to write dialogue, determine main idea, theme, write ending, rewrite from a different point of view, etc
I like this idea. Still educational, but a lot of fun. My students love improv, and the "I Am a Tree" improv.
