We live in a time where we can go on apps like rideshare or freelance work, to get short term employment. While it offers workers freedom and variety, many argue it exploits them without job security or benefits. Is this trend beneficial or harmful for workers?

When I was first starting, freelance work was like my entry-level role. I knew what I was getting into, though. Not great pay, no benefits, grunt work, but it did help me get into my career. Go into it aware of the negatives and what you are using it for.

That's a perfect example of how it can be beneficial. It gave you the experience and the funds you needed at that time.

I have never heard of rideshare or freelance work? What is this?

Ahh I see thank you for explaining!

It gives flexibility, yes, but often at the cost of stability. Many gig workers lack sick pay, pensions, or health cover. The freedom sounds great, but for long-term wellbeing and security, this model leaves people vulnerable. A system built on freedom should not sacrifice protection

Just wondering about how is the WLB in HSBC account of Synechron, Pune? I am reading so much of pros and cons on Glassdoor and here. Some are saying the cons like Hire and fire are a FAKE news.

I have the highest offer in hand from Synechron with HSBC client. Please help me make up my mind whether I should join them or not..?

I have another offer with LTI as well but just a marginal difference in pay, and the Location is Mumbai. Should I choose LTI instead?

Please Help!!

Big name shop. Shitty account, but you get opportunities beyond that.

Shop with bad reputation that lacks PR and hardly enters awards but has a lot of book-worthy projects.
