I found out today the person who got hired to replace me is getting paid way more than me.
I’m leaving anyway in a few days but I feel really unappreciated. I changed my last date to train the new hire but now I want to stick to my official date which was Friday. Any thoughts?

My manager kept telling me how much he appreciate what I did for the team and he was only expecting less than 30% of what I do for them. I feel like he was lying and they wanted to pay more to get better applicants

I use ClassDojo and a behavior clip chart to manage behavior. We have switched to personalized learning and a teacher next to me says that this is not conducive to personalized learning and good behavior is expected and shouldn’t be rewarded. Is anyone else returning to fully in person learning? We have been hybrid/synchronous since September, which has been very hard and not very effective. They want us to have all Kindergarten students come back in March. I want to stop live teaching over google meet all day while also teaching my students in person at the same time, but there is not enough space in my classroom for safe distancing, not enough space for movement, and sitting at a desk all day is not appropriate for K kids!
