Depends, but we often offer a level down with some time at level to try and coach you up in a year or less to the level you interviewed for. Assuming financials / your skills are particularly in-demand and match up to a lot of chargeable work in the company
The job description said 2 years of consulting experience and 1 year of specialized experience in the field (OCM). Which I surpassed for both categories. Is there anything else I can do to still be considered for the position? Or at lease get a chance to have a conversation with the manager?
I’ve been through something similar in the past, and my reaction was “why the hell did you waste your and my time if I didn’t have enough experience?” (which should be self-evident from my resume)
Didn’t even have an opportunity to interview with a manager or MD
Interesting.... I passed that assessment for both the manger level and consultant level.but I choice to come in at the consultant level because I am new to commercial side. However, they made it seem like that assessment is the deal breaker, and you passed it. I would assume they would let you finish the process.
That was my assumption as well which is why I’m confused.
That doesn't make sense. Did you interview with MD for behavior? Usually it's a manager or SM.
Yes they called and said I passed behavior but they’re not gonna move forward with the process because the recruiter sent my resume to the MD for feedback.
