I remember developing the very first websites and helping my CPG clients start using mobile. I had so many clients do cool amazing things and social when it started. Having been part of so many digital first for clients, and now I’m leaning into AI. I’m 56 years old and I feel just as digitally savvy and as connected to the world as I did 20 years ago. I think some of this “Gen X can’t keep up” is fake news, or it’s people who don’t want to stay up on top of technology. To be honest, there were people 20 years ago who didn’t want to do these things either. But to suggest that our entire generation cannot keep up with the technology in the world is a lie. Age is an absolutely exists because people don’t wanna pay for the experience. But it is not because we cannot do the work.
