I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.
Is IB or MBB more difficult to land?

I would do some soul searching.
If it the work? Is it the team that isn't explaining things well? Is the manager expecting too much that wasn't disclosed? Why did you think it would be anything different? What were your unmet expectations and were those reasonable? Etc.
If you are new to anything, it can feel like you are sinking and that's OK. You can always ask team members that you have trust with "hey, can you give me an honest feedback on what I can do better or where I'm missing things". It always helps to understand the industry to converse with business. It helps me to know about coding to have conversations with devs.
You will need to invest time to learn and be the source matter expert on the product. Persistence is part of the job. If you don't understand, ask, draw diagrams until you do understand. Hope this helps you! You got this!
Even if you move to brand management, it would still be a similar job. Any specific industry that you are interested in?
When starting out in a new role most of the career options feel that way. You could try Scrum Master if you are into Agile, you could do away with ambiguity, since it would be more of project management with resource management. Wish you all the best!
