Generally curious about this years incoming batch of undergrads. What is your role and starting salary? Lots of HR laws ( CA, NY) and inflation this year so curious to see if people were able to use this to their advantage etc.

I am currently in Retail Project Management (coming up on 2 years) right now and am looking to make a shift into real estate finance. My degree is in finance, and I am really looking to pair that degree with my passion for real estate investment. Any suggestions on how to make the transition? I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. Got an offer for SE III at a large tech company. Product I'd be working on interests me and I think I could grow more than in my current role.

Currently I make 180k base and have ISO/RSUs @ startup (60k/yr worth on paper, but won't be worth anything for a few years, if at all).

The offer is:
Base: $166,500
Target Bonus: 10% ($16,650)
RSU: 120k total (30k/yr)

Thoughts on offer? Should I counter?
