What HR ticketing system do you use and what important aspects did you consider when looking? Our company is looking into ticketing systems and this will be our first time looking. Right now I’ve seen Zendesk, Workday and Happy Fox. Has anyone sued those before?

What are the key components of your performance review process? The data points we currently use are manager and self scoring of a scorecard for each employee (scorecard outlines mission for the position, outcomes, and competencies) as well as peer feedback based on the competencies of the position (thought being a manager only has so much insight to a person’s day to day, especially in a matrix org). What am I missing?

I recently moved to a new company. As I get access to all the systems, I noticed that I have access to HR function (peers, managers) data within the HRIS system and other sources. I am not planning to look at the data but I'm concerned that peers can see my compensation, etc., if I can see theirs. At the company I came from, HR data was extremely safeguarded and restrictive within our systems. Is this something I should bring up to my manager?

As a salesperson I generally take the approach of keeping my opinions to myself, if a customer asks me something directly I'm not going to lie to them I'll share what I believe in a respectful way. In other words I don't try to force my views on anyone, but lately our world seems to be more and more polarized on everything, and everyone is offered just by knowing you don't share the same views as they do they can't imagine their opinion isn't the only one. How are you handling these situations?

Hi all, my boss (sole practitioner) got a PPP loan in May, and he started supplementing my paycheck to be 75% of what I was making on average before. I am an hourly associate and only get paid for what I bill. The first several months of my employment, I did not bill a lot because I was ramping up. Now, since quarantine began, I am making LESS even with what he’s supplementing than what I would get if I just filed for unemployment.

If I leave for a way smaller firm (it’s famous regionally but their whole practice is under 30 ppl) to join their deal advisory group, would my exit ops be way worse? Big four firms currently seem to not be hiring and idk when they would be again. I’d also have the freedom to rotate between financial due diligence and valuation services. I was at EY then KPMG in audit. The other option is to stay until big four hires again and then go back to EY or transfer in KPMG both which aren’t guaranteed.
