Booz is unquestionably the leader in that space. If you’re interested or want more info, DM me — happy to chat and offer whatever guidance I can!

Big 3 or bust. Doesn’t make that work ethical though.

If it's MBB, since when did Bain and BCG have a substantial national security practice? I'm sure they have contracts here and there, but nothing compared to McK, and even that is small, though it meets some criteria for consideration.

You're going to have to work your way up govie scale for that type of work.

That’s very true, even at Booz

Going GS is better if this is your goal. Contractors in many places are second class citizens in the IC and DOD.

I think many would like to go federal but hiring is next to 0 right now, as many positions are only open to current federal employees. Doing a solid contractor work is a solid stepping stone to GS if you can get enough client one-on-one time though.

Booz Allen 100% but not for entry level

Not true, my first project out of undergrad at Booz was one of the most interesting and engaging projects I ever had. Level 1s and 2s can actually do a lot of good work at Booz of they're talented because they are also cheap/easy to place on a contract as support staff. As you build a reputation it creates a positive feedback loop with more quality projects

For what you’re asking, that’s straight Staff Aug. BAH, Leidos, Northrop, and BAE are good places to look.

interviewed at a company through consulting/staffing firm - got the offer and signed offer letter - gave 2 week notice. One day before my start date, they tell me SOW was not signed. Now I’m jobless.
