What are the main differences between MM and Big 4 TAS? Are the hours really that much more? Pay is obviously better than MM based on my research. What has been the experience jumping from MM to Big 4? I feel like exit opportunities may be better with Big 4 on my resume.

I’m trying to get a rotation in FDD but my partner is worried about temporarily losing resources in our advisory practice. So, what are some things I could learn in FDD that I could bring back to the advisory practice that might convince the partner to let me go on rotation?

Is anyone feeling especially burnt out lately? I’ve had to work weekends for the last month. I know deals are sporadic but it feels like they have consistently ended up this way where I’m forced to work weekends. Getting frustrated because pay has also slowed down.
