I love toxic. Everything is so toxic. That culture is toxic. This person is toxic. Boss toxic. You toxic. All toxic. What a time to be alive.

Well yeah. Your water is toxic. Your food is toxic. The air is toxic. So makes sense that everything is mentally toxic as well.
Unscientific poll, just based on people I know at other agencies and what I’ve heard, here are some non-toxic agencies:
Martin- good w/l balance and enough good work to go around
Preacher- friends seem happy there. Laid back Austin vibes.
Mischief- i know a lot of people there. Everyone seems to love it.
RPA- bit of a sleeper but people stay there for years and genuinely nice atmosphere.
Gut- yes, but might depend on group and office. I’ve heard both great and not so great.

ACD2 I have good friends there and they don’t have a lot of terrible things to say. They mostly enjoy.

Every agency has it's problems and levels of toxicity - the question is do the positives outweigh the negatives? Do you have solid work/life balance? Do you at least enjoy some of the work? Do you like your co-workers? These are all questions that should come into play. It's advertising. I equate it to being no different than the music or film industries - a lot of cliques, a lot of politics, a lot of manipulation and back stabbing - and A LOT of fat at companies with people who have no clue what they're doing, are check collecting, and should be elsewhere. You have to have a stomach for it, that's for sure.
