Pass on the Frederique, unless you absolutely love one of the designs and can find it for 80% off. They don’t hold their value at all and have recently just started to blatantly copy Breguet’s style, which I personally frown upon.
The Rolex isn’t a bad option, but it can be difficult to verify you’re getting a good condition watch. We always say, “buy the seller, not the watch”, and 99% of the time, if it’s too good to be true then it’s bogus. Rolex’s are also the most faked watch in the world, so be prepared to pay a little more for the assurance the watch is legit (preferably with box and stamped warranty card).
The portofino is nice but I recommend trying it on. It’s a bit larger than you might imagine. Also, and this isn’t a bad thing, but the movement is a finely finished Valjoux/ETA/Sellita. It is not in-house, which some people say is the only way to go (I disagree and just recently bought a 3239 IWC Ingenieur without in-house, so make your own judgements).
My recommendations for best all-around watches are:
1) Omega Aquaterra - lots of options for straps and colors, 2 sizes, amazing movement that won’t need service for a decade, nearly impossible to magnetize, has a date, pretty timeless design, and 150m water resistance. It’s also less flashy than the Rolex and won’t upset your clients.
2) Grand Seiko Spring Drive - champagne, black, or “snowflake” white dial (latter in Titanium!), 2 sizes, unique movement that’s 6x or better more accurate than Rolex, perfectly smooth sweep of the second hand, highest level polishing and quality, 100m water resistance, and you won’t see many others with this watch.
3) Check out the post listing my selection of the best GMT watches, that allow you to independently move the hour hand for time zone changes without impacting the watch’s accuracy.

Tudor Black bay 58 or omega speedster first into space might be some options to consider.

Not at the moment. We have a funky Oyster Perpetual, an older Submariner, and a two tone Daytona.
