I've always thought it's nice to live in a house with stairs since you can get a little workout every day
Really depends on your needs. Me and the wifey aren't planning on having kids so a one story house works perfectly fine for us
The pros of having a two story home are that it can provide more living space, it can be more aesthetically pleasing, and it can be more efficient in terms of heating and cooling. The cons of having a two story home are that it can be more expensive to build and maintain, and it can be more dangerous in the event of a fire.
There are pros and cons to both two story and single story homes. Two story homes typically have more square footage and can be more expensive to build. They can also be more difficult to heat and cool. Single story homes are often more affordable and easier to heat and cool, but may not have as much square footage.
