Why do partners tell associates to be cost-conscious when billing for certain clients when they can just cut your hours on the back end?

after receiving the portal link to accept the offer letter, what is the deadline to I accept it?

Today I learned a new thing. One candidate was referred by a colleague of mine in the system. He got selected and offer letter rolled out.

When he checked the system he realized the referral was not taken and the background system captured it as direct hire.

So my friend is not going to get any referral incentive.

Wondering if anyone else faced the same issue?

I'm supposed to put together a Market report for our sales team to refer to but I have been stuck on what I even include. I have an expensive subscription to a reporting database and I am supposed to translate these technical reports into 20-30 slides. Fell out of love with real estate. The more I'm in this industry, the more I realize most people are looking to make a buck instead of helping their clients.

I am a direct private lender. I offer fast and reliable loan at 5% interest rate with no prepayment penalty. I can close a deal within 3-7 working days.

I put in a lot of effort to show my client properties that fit their requirements, but they ended up working with a different agent just because they wandered across an open house. I'm so frustrated right now. Has anyone else experienced this?
