I have 6 YOE in. Net+Angular and got an offer from Legato Health Technologies with 20 LPA Fixed, i joined Infor just 11 months ago with 12LPA Fixed and i will get the hike in August. If i resign now i will not get hike and i am a critical resource in the project, i guess Infor might try to retain me by matching offer. What should i do? Should i resign ASAP and not negotiate with Infor . I have all these doubts because Infor is a product based company.

WSGR tech trans is probably the better shop to do tech trans work in, like MoFo, Cooley, and a few others. These groups have stand alone commercial work (i.e you actually learn to draft commercial agreements) which is highly valued for going in house as opposed to shops like Kirkland or Skadden where tech trans is mostly IP due diligence or support for M&A deals.
A2 is right. Tech firms are best feeders.
I’m a tech trans partner at a peer firm and WSGRs practice is good. Only thing that is a little unusual is that they have a hard separation between biotech and tech, so if you want to try both that may be hard. Other firms (including ours) have more cross breeding between the 2 although people tend to migrate towards one or the other. I also think WSGRs TT group defers more to their privacy group so you may not get as many reps on privacy stuff as you would at other firms.
I think the tech firms are a good place to do this work but there are plenty of other great firms for it as well. That said, for exit options to big tech I would probably go to one of the tech firms if you have the option.
