LTIMindtree What designation to expect if having 12.05 years of experience? I had first round today, recruiter has proposed me to principal consultant role, but the interviewer told that it won't suite my role. He told he will recommend me to senior consultant role. I believe it will impact the CTC bracket, as senior consultant role will be offered very less as per my reading. The interview went well, I feel the nterviewer did it intentionally. I am already working as TL/associate architect in ltimindtree.
You might be given Lead Consultant which js equivalent to Project Manager role.. Principal consultant role will be given to ppl with more than 15 years of experience..
When it comes to CTC, even internal lead consultants gets less than lateral hired senior consultant.. so don’t take designation seriously when you get your expected CTC.. if they are giving senior consultant, in another two years you may be promoted to lead consultant if you get good ratings.. And in your case , I would say accept the offered role and enjoy in hometown.. don’t ever think that you will save with higher CTC in cities like Bangalore, etc..
