I had a pretty good weekend. I mainly just sat around and watched football. But i'm not complaining, that's what i love to do!

Football is great!

My friends got married! That was a highlight. What about you?

Oh nice, congrats! I just cleaned up the house and decorated our outside porch area with fall decorations.

I had fun doing mostly nothing 😁 but actually I was pretty productive too. Powerwashed my garage, cleaned out my car, mopped all my floors, organized my basement storage. And today i got to just relax.

Gotta love lax Sundays! They are the best! The first thing I do is let our dog out and I sit down and drink some coffee.

I met an old friend after 5 years! It was so nice to catch up on some old stuff and memories.

Meeting up with friends from the past is always a great feeling!

For myself I just stayed home and cleaned up and put up some more fall decorations.

I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it. Now, a better opportunity came along and I don't have anything to show for my talent as a designer. ALWAYS take credit for what you do, even if it's not your project to begin with.

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.
