I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. Fresh embryo transfer. Got my period yesterday, and my pregnancy test in the clinic is tomorrow... so frustrated after all the investment... I had two embryos frozen so hopefully next time it happens... hope everyone gets what they want.

Not the results I was hoping for this morning. Went for my first appointment before starting injections this evening. Only 9 follicles. Was told birth control can suppress some so they may just not be visible yet but feeling very panicked now despite the doctor saying it was ok for my age.

Y’all I am struggling on these “light” home improvement projects we decided to take on with a recent house purchase. Plan was just to replace carpets, paint some walls, and replace kitchen appliances. How does a consultant or associate director/above in industry manage their properties if they are always in meetings ~7-8 hours per day? Eg does one call contractors after work hours? Does one hire an individual property manager to take care of a few properties? Does one hire a property management firm?

I imagine one can still self manage as long as you have initially found the go-to people for your maintenance/fixes (eg plumber, electrician), then can quickly text them for appointments

We are close family and they trust my judgement. Another of my uncles wants to join for the next home we buy. How do we split/ allow their buy in to our partnership for the next home? I don’t wanna add extra accounting of maintaining expense/cash flow from the next one we buy as a larger group Thoughts?

I am getting a 3% interest rate on a jumbo loan with 20% down on a $850,000 single family home. The ball park in July was 2.65 - 2.75
Checking if folks are noticing a spike in interest rates or if I need to look for another lender.

How big is to big for an initial investment property. Theres a 20 SFH portfolio for sale by me for about a mil. Is this to big to start with initially? I'm less worried about the Financials (feel comfortable on that end) and more worried about the managerial aspect.
