I think it's absolutely up to you. If you look good with a beard, go for it! I think at this point it's acceptable in every market. Now a man bun on the other hand... save that for firms in California.
I think it's totally fine. Ty Cobb has a handlebar mustache for Christ's sake and that's DC
Wtf?? How is this even a question. I’ve never once heard someone say a beard was less professional - they make so many men look more professional in fact.
Wear a beard if you want. Winter is coming after all.
Such an advantage to have an extra layer of protection in the winter. A disadvantage when you shower, leave the house in a hurry, and arrive at the office with frozen facial hair.
Dude this isn’t the army. Beards are fine.
My beard has survived about 6 years and a promotion to partner. Makes me look older!
Agree. I have been told that I get more respect with facial hair.
Totally fine
As long as you maintain it well and trim from time to time, you're good
The longer the better! We need more beard diversity
Haha #bearddiversity love it.
Not problem at all but as everything else all depend on the style and attitude
I have a beard, I keep it short and trim and it has never been an issue. I also have colleagues who refuse to touch it with a comb and walk around like they homeless and absolutely not an issue in our West coast offices.
Beards are great, do your thing, it’s a free market.
