I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? I second working with an experienced recruiter and would also suggest networking in the desired area as much as you can - the smart answer is going to change depending on what the desired litigation practice group is. Shareholder lit/Antitrust lit/lit-focused Privacy would probably all have very different answers here. You may get better help if you divulge that, if you feel you can.
Thanks. I’m looking at white collar / special investigations. Something I wanted to do, but my career took me elsewhere.
You may need to connect with an experienced recruiter
Thanks! I’ll def put that on my list.
Omg are you me? Same boat same boat! Except the fact that my previous firms are nowhere near top tier.. but I managed to get some decent offers (to me anyways) and one at a national firm
I was sending resumes and a couple recruiters approached. But honestly the offers I got are not through recruiters.. they don’t have anything I am interested in. Also I worked on a case with a partner from another firm. We had a great relationship (so I think anyways) so she shared my resume to her firm at my city
I'd get into personal injury. May take a few years but pays pretty well if you like litigation. Sky is the limit. Let me know if you need any references I have a lot of friends in the space.
