Hey so just to check on my part. I worked at a place where we went to a firm happy hour and women attorneys were there. A picture was passed around of a really hot woman on Instagram who they are oggled , later after the woman left some guy talked about all the quote whores he slept with. The women weren't sex workers presumably. I'm a male this behavior seems inappropriate to me and made me uncomfortable. Am I expected to exhibit this level of 1950s machismo in my day-to-day life?

How do I be a decent manager to a coworker who's upset I've been promoted twice in two years and they haven't? We started out as coworkers, became decent friends after a few good moments, but went back to simply coworkers after they flubbed a few projects and I had to step in to clean up. Are you responsible for giving performance feedback? Avoid giving personality based feedback. Examples include telling an Asian person they are too quiet/shy or telling a Black person they are agressive/abrasive. DO NOT DO THIS. It clearly represents bias in Performance Management. Performance feedback should be tied to business outcomes with clear examples of what the person does well + how they can improve.

The hostility on my team is rough. We have a yeller. I walked by her room the other day. She was screaming across the room at a student, "you have to be kind to get kindness." I am going to renew my visa now but for my appointment I had given my current passport number and for appointment I need to carry the renewed passport(Which will have new Passport Number) , please help if this will be an issue?? When negotiating a sign on bonus with a new firm based on the fact that you were anticipating a bonus for that fiscal year and are leaving before that is paid out, do you have to do anything to prove you would have actually received a bonus/the amount of bonus you would have received?

I am traveling out of town for callback interviews. One firm wants me to commit a full day of interviews. Would it be reasonable to ask for a half day so I can fit 2 callbacks in the same day?

I understand since it’s been published it doesn’t meet any invasion of privacy or potential defamation yet, but is there something I can do preliminarily to protect myself and stop my inclusion?
