MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.

What’s your take on working along side a team in marketing but barely any of your team enjoy the social present, let alone having actual social accounts. Fellow editors, I’m leaving somewhere where I’ve been in-house for 5 years, and was in-house 2 other place before that. I’m realizing that while I’m excellent at my craft, I’m not an excellent freelancer. Any advice for someone striking out on their own (and not in LA/NY)?

Are post-houses ramping back to in-person? I’m freelance and so far have had a couple in-person sessions but everything else has still been remote. I’m in NYC.

EDITORS.. do you find that you work weekends on EVERY SINGLE JOB when your cutting for the first screening? No matter what the job is like, no matter how complicated or not, no matter the ship date, I find that I have to work weekends to accommodate the first screening.
