What do you say when companies ask for your salary range? It’s a little schemey to me they basically force you into a corner when they’re the ones with knowledge of their available range. It feels like talking about where you’re currently at isn’t enough nor appropriate and there’s so much t consider with a new role besides just the $.

Looking for advice fish fam. Deloitte vs EY-P. Same level - Manager/Director. EY-P pays $50k more for base and maybe $10 to $20k more as bonus. Currently at Deloitte. Is the extra $60-$70k worth giving up my network? Plan to stay in Consulting and hope to make SM/SD. I have a family and my wife is a homemaker. So money does matter. Would have left easily for an $80k bump. Wouldn’t leave for $30k or less. Don’t know what to do with $60k. Pulling my hair out here. HELP Please!!!
