Hey Fishbowl community! I currently work as a Sales Support Specialist with 3 YOE working at a SaaS company. My dream career is to work at Microsoft or Google. I am open to different opportunities that exceed 80k+ per year. I also have a BA in Business Admin. If anyone can refer me to a great remote position I would greatly appreciate it! 😀

Congrats on both offers :)!! I’m also interested in restructuring and hope to get in sometime in the future. Would you mind sharing what the interview was like for restructuring?
No, just audit!
Isn’t RX in a way investment banking? I’m in FDD now and we don’t do any modeling/finance
Those with RX exposure don’t you need to know modeling/forecasting? That can better translate to finance roles
Ahhh I see. Thanks appreciate the breakdown there.
It seems like RX positions always have IB experience as a requirement so I just blended those two roles

If PE is long-term goal, then:
MM FDD => B4 FDD => MM IB => small PE shop
You just have to hope and pray for that PE exit. It's gonna be hard, especially since you'll have to waste extra years jumping to B4 and then IB. PE is pretty age discriminatory (not in a legal sense, but you get what I mean)

Yeah FDD outside the US Is much more respected and leads to finance more commonly. Different story here

What’re your goals?
Good question — should’ve started with that ha.
Currently work on audit. Long term I would like to work at a fund (PE or PC). I want to be able to use my accounting skills and to transition to a more “finance” type role. Love creative problem solving and want exposure to data analytics.
Thanks!
