Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. Any advice for asking for almost a 30-35% raise. I recently got an Office Manager position and I wanted to renegotiate my pay. It's a brand new location with branches nationwide. So for a few months I had to do everything myself since I was the only one in the office at this location. I did extremely well and everyone's told me I've been doing a great job. The firm I work for has been good to me, but the partner I work under is pretty toxic/manipulative and it’s negatively impacting me. The past two years have sucked the life out of me, so I’m looking to leave. I love client service and training/leading staff, but I don’t know if I can do another busy season.
