What is best way to go about finding a mentor that is outside your company?

Depends on the field you’re looking for a mentor in. You need to attend in person conferences/luncheons/summits/trade shows, wherever your target audience is. Approach them, talk to them, take them out for a coffee or for lunch. You want a mentor you actually get along with and whose values align with yours. Once yall get to know each other, you’ll be able to depend on them for favors and advice and direction. I’ve never come across anyone outright asking for a mentor and it workout unless it’s a family friend

I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?
