Food for thought this a Friday. Quiet quitting has been trending for the last few weeks. This is problematic in two ways. A) Doesn’t actually identify the root cause for burnout (I.e abuse at work or poor company culture B) Completely dismisses a whole demographic of people unable to do the bare minimum without facing penalty. It's the high oil prices. Amirire?
Price increases accelerate based on supply considerations. Price decreases accelerate based on demand considerations. Same goes for most commodities. When enough people are buying the cheapest gas available then price corrections kick in.
This has little to do with present circumstances. Look at what BP has done over the past few years: massive strategy shift & reorganization.
