Hello Mastercard employees. I have been trying to break into MC for long now.
I have 2 yrs workex post MBA. I have experience in data analysis and consulting. But I don't want to get into consulting anymore. I am looking for analytics roles. Anyone here would be able to DM and guide me on the available options at Mastercard?

Never seen a mosquito in LA. You live near a stagnant reservoir?
Born and raised in LA and once upon a time we had no mosquitos…now it is a mosquito zone. https://www.latimes.com/environment/story/2022-06-24/southern-california-is-now-a-mosquito-zone-heres-how-to-defend-yourself?_amp=true
I’ve definitely noticed them this year more than usual. I went to Barnsdall this past weekend and got bit up because I forgot to put on bug spray.
I use Natrapel, it’s deet free. It’s a bit “oily”, sprays like a spray on sunscreen, so I recommend putting it on before clothing and let it dry a bit if you do use it. I’ve brought it when I’ve gone to Cinespia because there’s so many gnats and it works great!
I grew up in LA and my sisters and I would sleep out in the backyard during the summers and would wake up covered in bites - like 15+ big bites…the difference is these little ankle biters!! (That have recently invaded us) - I have not found a solution either but would love suggestions also!
There's essential oils you can use that are pretty effective like Basil and chammomile
At REI they have a good repellent with citronella I used when I went to Panama. However, when I went to get some a couple months ago they were sold out, so maybe call before going to the store.
I know the feeling. I use Badger Anti-bug spray - smells nice and it's organic. Citronella + other nice smelling ingredients (the scent is what keeps them away), I've even gotten complements on how I smell - lol - I also make a homemade lotion with similar ingredients - I basically cover myself in it!

I had a deet mosquito repellent on last night and I still got bit! 😫
Contact vector control for your city. If you report mosquito problems they will come spray the surrounding area. I also used the Cutter yard spray on my yard last weekend (Home depot, $8) and it made a noticable difference.
