I would like to understand, why would you even consider Evernorth, in front of an Offer from Optum (assuming same package) ?
I just want to understand the rational behind these thinking, since I see multiple people comparing Optum and Evernorth offer (I think this is 2nd or 3rd post). What is the logic?

Talking of hike, it has just started being informed, and nobody (except those in Director level) may have data of large sample of people, so as to provide you a fair average. It I know about 4 people’s hike and I tell you based on that, that will be highly misleading information, because in product based companies, hikes may vary a great deal from one project/department to another.
In any case, I don’t think it is a wise decision to put your joining decision on hike, that too when it is the first hike of the organisation.

Need 6 Marriott nights to titanium (spend doesn’t matter). 1 - would any hotel manager cut you a deal? (Ie if 6 nights is 60k; let me pay 30k and get the nights and I won’t use the room?); 2 - where are cheapest Marriott hotels? Here’s my plan of attack:
- $30K saved right now ($20K in IBonds and $10K cash)
- $90K saved by July 2023
-$130K saved by 2023 and target a $800K home
