Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!
I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

We just have great wellness stipends that really go a long way. We're reimbursed for cooking at home, getting a certain amount of daily exercise, and have great access to health classes and gym passes with amazing discounts. It's a huge perk to me because healthy living can be so expensive
My workplace actually provides childcare stipends for parents. I've never worked anywhere or even heard about anywhere that has this. It's a pretty incredible perk, and it's based on the CEO and his wife having small children and knowing how difficult it can be for employees to juggle parenthood and work obligations. I don't have children, but I love that my colleagues have that stipend available to them.
Daycare support is outstanding. This is the biggest cost in my household.

Well up until this year it was pension 🫠
Do you mean they stopped providing Pension as part of the benefit package for new employees after 2009… or do you mean that the company changed their policy and even those who had a pension don’t get paid out on their pension?
I'd have to say ours is the super generous benefits package and PTO. Our health, dental, and vision are paid for in full, which is already a huge plus, but they also offer a great PTO plan. 2 weeks after your first year and an additional 1 week every year after that up to 6 weeks total.
The health insurrance looks good deal. The PTO may be average. I’ve got 6 weeks PTO plus 2 weeks well-being leave here after 10 years of service.
Hmm maybe mental health benefits to spend on therapists
I work for a medical software company that has its own urgent care type place in the building where we can visit the doctor for free. We have great health insurance in general but if you visit one of our doctors in the building it is completely free.
