Hi fishes! I volunteer with The Art of Good, a creative collective helping small businesses affected by the pandemic. They are seeking a little help from a media professional. Need an SEM POV for a small business looking to change their name and relaunch their brand. This is non-paid. More about giving back while in-between gigs. :) If you can help out or want to learn more, please reach out to me via LinkedIN. Thank you!! www.linkedin.com/in/karenkohn/

Ask them how they would handle a certain situation. I used to bartend and I would ask the hiring manager how they would handle a busy night when they were on shift and the crew was struggling trying to catch up.
Who do you trust that can give you an honest assessment of this leader? I always if at all possible recon all the people that I would possibly be reporting to and as long as it’s coming from a trusted source, there’s your answer.
You already have the gossips. Everyone has its own feeling about people.
Go and check by yourself as your criteria for a good boss are your own (I hope for you) and not the one of the others.
As OP1 said, ask questions about
how they will handle a crisis situation,
how do they manage stress: their and the one of the team.
what do they consider being successful in this new position.
