As someone who did the reverse, I’d say there aren’t too many differences in WLB/culture. Smart people across the industry that are good to work with. Big4/ACN have better built out assets & standards, whereas OCS has access to deeper knowledge within the ecosystem. Base comp is better outside of OCS, but OCS has a better bonus structure

I went from big4 to OCS. My WLB has skyrocketed and my stress levels have gone down significantly. Leadership is not as strong at OCS. Overall quality of peers is lower at OCS, specifically communication skills and basic alignment with clients. This can be frustrating and I am sure it varies by team. Technical skills I find stronger at OCS. Comp wise, salaries are slightly lower and the gap widens above Manager level. The bonus and equity have been unreal (positive) and made me significantly more than if I would have stayed at big4. Not sure how long this will be the case.

From what I’ve gauged so far, it’s a lot of past pace and urgent work and the VP is tough. Curious if switch will be worth it. Currently underpaid

I've been working at this company for about 3.5 weeks now. Its been great so far.

We have an org chart in our dashboard ATS/HRIS and so I clicked on my first day buddies name just for fun.

I was able to see her entire employee file..even her address. I was really freaked out and I went to another profile and the same thing happened, I was able to see this person's emergency contact. Is this fucking normal? Should I say something and will I get in trouble for looking at a colleagues file?

Texas drivers…honest question. Why, why in tf do people just camp in the left lane? I’m talking doing maybe 5 mph over the limit in the left lane when people want to go faster and they can get over??
