I’m a MM AM for a series-A SaaS startup with one year of experience(AM for a global IT services and solutions provider).
It’s a dynamic role so I work under the capacity of a customer success manager + account manager.
My base salary is £45000 and I get 50% OTE + stock options.
I’m curious to understand if I could negotiate a bit more as from what I see on Reddit r/sales, AM’s across the pond get paid so much more.
@BDR1 I’m based in London. I have a total of 1 year (old gig)+ 2 months (current gig) of experience working for a company. Prior to this I worked along with my parents. They have interest in the hospitality industry in India.
To give you a bit more context, I moved to the uk to pursue my master and then decided to stay back.
I don’t have BDR experience, but my previous gig was a 360 sales role. So I had to spend about 20% of my time prospecting.
Is that a comfortable amount to live on? I was just in London and everything seemed ridiculously expensive. 1200/week in rent wtf
Where were you looking where rent was that much? You could get a really nice apartment to yourself in a nice area for that much, but it’s definitely not the minimum
