I don’t like that source, use this one. Model comes back with an even more aggressive target. “That source isn’t representative of our current business, so tweak these assumptions to make the data more representative.” Model comes back with slightly less, yet still aggressive, target.

Client (internally): So I don’t look bad in our next meeting with my boss, I’ll just feign that the consultants never properly explained how their modeling works, which data & assumptions were used, and that I don’t trust them due to this lack of transparency. This behavior will exist until the consultants remove logic and proper sourcing from their modeling in order to return a number adequate for my liking...

How do you respond to a super close friend who says they're not making masks mandatory at their June wedding (about 150 guests) because they want to have fun. To be fair, most people are vaccinated but not everyone os going to be vaccinated. I haven't been to any large gatherings in pver a year and even though im vaccinated, i don't think this is safe. Are people are generally careful? I dont think so... am i overthinking this?
