Is this a real question? Are you or are you not a lawyer?

Sky is the limit. All depends on damages and amount of coverage available, like anything else. Mechanism of injury is not usually as contested as client who is in a car, for example.

I mean there’s so many factors to take into consideration.
How bad were they hurt? Surgery? Life long impacts? Killed? Difficult to see the pedestrian due to night time or weather conditions? Age of the pedestrian?

I mean how fast was the car going? Just physical therapy? Doesn’t sound like settlement amount is that high if it’s just PT
The range truly depends on the extent of the injuries/treatment. I’ve seen a 7 figure settlement when I worked on the defense side. It was a bad hit and Plaintiff needed multiple surgeries.
I’ve also settled a case at 15k because that was the policy limit.
What are the injuries here? Do you know the policy limits?
"Had a case—injuries were valued higher, but coverage was capped at $300K and carrier tenderd.. Client initially rejected, hoping for $500K, but the tortfeasor had no assets to go after. In the end, we secured the full $300K policy limits. Sometimes, policy caps set the real ceiling, no matter the injury value." NYC case.
