What does being terminated as an associate look like during WFH? Our office is having a serious drop in billable hours. If one of us was terminated, how awkward is it to get things from the office?
EY GPS business transformation senior associate 1 salary? Recruiter told me 100k minimum in December, been working with another recruiter since then. she told me they’re ready to give an offer but the max of the salary band for level 1 is 90k
Anybody here familiar with Maven Clinic?
How is the current madness around Omicron affecting your firm? Are you implementing or changing policies to address it? Know this is a touchy subject, just taking a pulse.
Why is VC pay so low at the Associate level?
I was a virgin till I was 34, when I got married. Growing up I was always open about that, ppl would laugh and make fun of me saying it’s weird to be like that, but I was a firm believer in waiting till marriage and luckily my wife was just like me. I am thankful that I stuck to my principles and beliefs.
Got selected in SAT, But didn't get offer yet. It's almost more than a month now.
HR says- On hold due to some approval/ restructuring happening.
Is it normal in EY?
Should I wait for the offer or is it revoked?
I’m a mid level and the 1st year male on my deal keeps challenging, interrupting and/or talking over me when I give him instructions or try to explain things. Any advice on how to handle this? I honestly just can’t wait for the deal to close.
Generally curious how many companies offer phone reimbursement? My last gig did not but the current one does. Legally it seems, all employers are required to do so if we use our phone in literally any capacity (video call, slack, teams, emails etc). How prevalent is the issue of not reimbursing phone dues?

Biggest Portland stereotypes? Do you think they're true or not true?
Mine is that everyone in Portland is into hiking, snowboarding or running....I promise there are some homebodies/non-athlete types out here y'all we just have to find each other ahah.
Ok I'm not that into cars, but I think it's dope that Formula E is doing the all-electric motorsport race here next year. As someone in the Portland service industry I'm all for anything that will bring people to the city, and I feel like we don't have that much sports stuff going on here usually. Would you go to this if it wasn't too expensive? Does Portland have much of a car scene?
Has anyone else seen ads for the musical “Shen Yun”, EVERYWHERE??? To date I have seen billboards, social media ads, posters, and received a mailer yesterday. Their media budget must be massive.
Where my Portland Advertising people at??
I currently work as a optician, referral coordinator and optometry technician. Busting my butt off wearing all 3 hats and I get paid $20 an hour… I don’t think this is a fare wage considering I’m doing the job of 3 people. I want to negotiate a higher wage any tips of what I should ask for?
Anyone know any Account Based Marketing Strategists with B2B experience looking to work at a great agency? Looking for referrals (will pay for successful hires) DM please!
Is anyone in Portland conservative? What is it like for you being there? I get along with just about anyone, but seems pretty hostile towards non-liberal folks from what I've seen
Hello I'm new to fishbowl and also I'm a

Portland roles! Hopefully will meet some

Is moving from Seattle worth it? I've heard the freeze is still in affect in Portland but I'm more worried about prices. I WFH mostly and pull down like 120k a year, Seattle is getting crazy expensive rent wise and crazy full. I'd like to find somewhere new but stick to the PNW.
Happy week of Christmas! How are we doing with last minute shopping?! I haven’t started 🤔
Any opinions about Thesis as a creative?
Anyone have a good (and not exorbitantly expensive) accountant? My taxes have gotten more complicated than TurboTax and I can handle this year
Got a date with a girl I've admired for a while this weekend, where should I take her? Best romantic/fun date spots, ideally with great food or near great food. She has no dietary restrictions as far as I know. Thanks
Moving to Oregon from California in about a month. I don't know anyone in the city. Any suggestions on activities/cool sights to see?
Hello PDX Ad folk! Moving back to Portland after 6 yrs away doing the NYC LA circuit. I'm currently a freelance Strategy Director, are there shops in Portland hiring freelancers into the New Year? Landing in January so looking to get connected to the right agencies ahead of my move. Thanks all!

I went to a Pronouns Protest there once.
It's subjective, but some might say the most overrated tourist spot in Portland is Voodoo Doughnuts. It's always packed and can be overpriced, but it depends on personal taste. Consider checking out some of the city's lesser-known gems for a unique experience.
Doe Donuts are my fave
Not the most overrated place in the city, but I think the Saturday market is a little overrated for a first date or if you're trying to impress someone. Look for something a little more unique
I’ll take you to Saturday market. It’s definitely Portland unique. . .
+ all three of us are in Advertising 🤣
