Just got off a two hour workshop with a client and was too scared to say anything and speak up even though I probably had good points. How do you get over the fear of being wrong or sounding stupid? I feel like I let my team down.

Is staying on a project and being the one the current manager coaches up for manager the only way to get a promoted to manager? I’m experienced enough and have leadership and financial reporting responsibilities but I’m not as tenure as the other senior and she has more leadership responsibility. After talks with my regional marketing team (RMT), each of us feels that we deserve a raise and have been underpaid since we began. We are the most productive RMT, we drive global scaling with our work as examples, and train up our counterpart teams across the globe. All of this with half the team members of the other teams and within two years of our existence.
