You are having imposter syndrome. it s very common now a days. You have to believe in yourself. Noone thinks that you cannot do. You have the knowledge and potential, that's the very reason you are hired. You have to recognise yourself to overcome this fear. Also make good relationship with your colleagues and managers. it will help you overcome getting fired fear atleast.
It is a corporate sarkaari naukri like TCS
Chill, if you cleared the interviews on your own you will do just fine.
What's your tech stack ?
Rising Star
Tech stack is not the problem. Whole corporate is. It's about job security and peace of mind.
I am on the same boat as You with more yoe.
But I am managing trying to learn.
What I found in PwC Ac bangalore, they are very strict for code quality and related parameters. Also very sound knowledge on tech.
To deal with it, take help of google baba.
And still anything wont work... Switch to any service based company like tcs wipro zensar they dont have this much pressure.mostly depend on project
How many years have you been in the current role ? Is this your recent switch ? I was having this same fear as I had exagerrated in my resume. The first 6 months were very challenging. I have anxiety issues too so it was one of the worst corporate experience. I somehow completed close to 1 year and doing all right. Manager is fine with my performance. Not an outstanding performer but im above average. Without having any relevant experience, I performed on a decent level only by Over working. It was definitely not a pleasant experience working long hours but atleast no one can tell you that you don't work. You will have to struggle for the initial few months and after some time it will get manageable. First few months are always tough. Don't take any decision like quitting in haste but just try to sail through the initial 1 year. After that if still not happy then yoh can look for alternate options.
