I think access to healthcare is probably the worst. So many people need help but can't afford. Also political beliefs getting in the way of care - like with vaccines and covid

How difficult it is to access medical services unless you are rich. I have only been in the industry for a year and I have already seen many situations where a person was turned away for an important procedure because insurance said no. For-profit companies should not be making medical decisions.

The cost. Which is basically just the same as it always is. That's been the problem with healthcare for as long as I can remember.

Anyone witness slackers who got into companies you have no idea how? Had a coworker who does jack chit at work besides chatting on Facebook yet lands at a faang company? I guess if he brings the same work ethic he will be spit out for sure. Or maybe he just had no interest in doing project work.

Do you work the holidays into your lesson plans this time of year? Or is it too much of a distraction from your routine? Teaching a SPED music class this year and the students have finally *mostly* become comfortable in the room and with the instruments + noise. We usually work on the same songs each week for one month, but I'm thinking of switching it up and doing Christmas/Holiday songs next week as a send off into break. I work with mostly autistic students.
